Beer and Banana Nut Bread

1.5 oz + 1 oz of Beer Syrup, any flavor

2 cups All Purpose Flour

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Salt

3 Bananas, ripened

1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened

1 cup Sugar

2 Eggs, large

3/4 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1/2 cup + 1/4 cup Walnuts, chopped

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and grease a 9x5 loaf pan. Sift the flour into a bowl and then mix the baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mash and stir the bananas with 1 oz of Beer Syrup in a separate bowl. Beat the butter and sugar in a third bowl until it’s light and fluffy. Add eggs to the butter mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir the banana and butter mixtures together and then gradually add the flour mixture until blended. Fold in 1/2 cup of walnuts and the chocolate chips until combined. Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan and then top with the remaining 1/4 cup of Walnuts. Bake the loaf for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the top crust is completely baked through. Pull the loaf out of the oven and then glaze the top with the remaining 1.5 oz of Beer Syrup and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Pull the loaf and let cool on a rack until it reaches room temperature. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
